Here&#8217;s the shopping list:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Watermelon:<\/strong> about 500 grams of seedless watermelon, cut into cubes. That juiciness will form the basis of our salad. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Feta cheese: <\/strong>Approximately 200 grams, crumbled. Its salty flavour and creamy texture will contrast perfectly with the sweetness of the watermelon. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Red onion:<\/strong> One small one, finely chopped, for a spicy, crunchy touch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fresh mint: <\/strong>A few leaves \u2013 because nothing says &#8216;fresh&#8217; quite like mint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Olive oil: <\/strong>A generous splash to emulsify and bring all the flavours together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Balsamic vinegar:<\/strong> A few tablespoons, to add a touch of acidity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salt and black pepper: <\/strong>To taste, to bring out all the flavours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make this recipe<\/h2>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prepare the watermelon:<\/strong> Start by cutting the watermelon into medium-sized cubes. Make sure they\u2019re seed-free, unless you want an extra crunch (and not the good kind!). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add the feta:<\/strong> In a large bowl, mix the watermelon cubes with the crumbled feta. The mix of colours and textures already looks appetising. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add the onion:<\/strong> Add the chopped red onion. This ingredient is the little secret that will give our salad a special touch. If you\u2019re not a fan of spicy food, you can tone it down by soaking it in cold water for a few minutes before using it.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dressing:<\/strong> In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with the balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture over the watermelon and feta. Gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add the mint:<\/strong> Just before serving, add the fresh mint leaves. You can tear them with your hands to release their aroma and flavour. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Final touches:<\/strong> Give it a final stir and adjust the seasoning if needed. And there you have it! Your watermelon and feta salad is ready to impress.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Making this salad may be so easy that it almost feels like cheating in the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s the perfect dish for those hot days when the thought of turning on the oven makes you sweat.
