In my first post, I told you about myself, including that I’m a fashion stylist, beauty expert, personal shopper, and blogger. I’m reminding you because I think today’s post will be of interest to you if, like me, you love fashion and everything related to our image.
Because today we’re going to talk about colorimetry, or in other words, which colors flatter us and enhance our appearance, taking into account our hair, eyes, and skin.
Specifically, we’re going to focus on red and its shades, as it could not be otherwise, given that it is so characteristic of watermelon, and even more so of Sandía Fashion due to its lack of seeds.
All colors have infinite shades and tones that make them warmer or cooler, even if they’re the same color and we call them by the same or similar names. For example, red can also be crimson, corinthian, scarlet, maroon, carnation… Pay attention, because now comes the important part. What shade or shades of red are yours?
Let’s say you’re a spring person, which means your skin is warm with golden undertones, and your hair and eyes are rather bright and clear. Your color is light red.
You’re summer when your appearance is clear and luminous but your skin has cool undertones. To give you an idea, we tend to have warm skin with a yellow undertone, which is why in winter, when the sun isn’t shining, we look sallow. Wear red in its purest shade. Your face will gain a lot of light!
Autumn is characterized by medium or light brown hair, golden or reddish blonde, and warm skin tones. Terracotta, reds with brown undertones, are perfect.
And finally, winter, with dark hair, either brown or black, or grayish, and dark eyes too. Blood red is your color.
I hope you’ve learned a lot!!! Now it’s time to wear Sandía Fashion red. And a nod to the World Cup, ARRIBA LA ROJA!!! The color of winners -:)
