After the emotional hangover from attending the Fruit Attraction event, we are here to tell you about our experience.
As you already know, the fair took place from 4 to 6 October at Ifema in Madrid. For three days we had the opportunity to share with great partners, colleagues from the sector and enjoy a day that has exceeded expectations, to the point of surpassing the numbers of Fitur which was, until this year, the largest event. Fruit Attraction became a space full of opportunities and experiences.
We always take advantage of this moment to meet face to face with so many of our customers and partners with whom we speak daily from different parts of Spain and also internationally, as is the case of our sales points in Germany and France who came by our stand to meet the rest of the team.
When we talk about “customers” we refer to all those people who are present in the process of Sandía Fashion, from its planting until they are in the supermarkets. These are the seed growers, fruit growers, transporters, the technological part, distributors… In addition, there were all the departments of the brand: sales, marketing, management…
We also had the visit of Francisco Góngora Cara, Mayor of El Ejido. This is the exact place where we have our commercial offices, seedbeds and part of the sowing.
Another great protagonist who was with us was Doctor Jesús Sánchez Martos, who was recognised by the majority of those present for his long career as a collaborator of this 20th anniversary campaign.
The agenda did not stop for any of the team between meetings, interviews with TRECE, Onda Cero, Grupo La Cazuela and other media that have supported us over the years.
It is normal to go to Fruit Attraction and taste every product offered by the different exhibitors… whether it is fruit, vegetables or innovations in the sector, you leave the fair with a full belly and a happy heart. On our stand it was different because the season had finished the week before, but that didn’t stop all the visitors from taking away a good souvenir of the brand. That’s why we gave out reusable bags which, we don’t say it ourselves, “are very cool and very fashionable”. The truth is that it was the excuse to come to our stand.
Last but not least, we were nominated for the best Instagram by Fruit Today Magazine. Even if we didn’t win it will always be an honour to have been among the best.
We closed our campaign with a flourish. Surrounded by our people, our community, being more and more Sandia Fashion lovers and of course, putting a lot of heart together.
